Story

Volepain, a nimble and cunning thief who makes a living by stealing and hiding, accidentally discovers an ancient artifact while carrying out a daily job. It is a strange card containing strange symbols, and as soon as he touches it, he begins to see terrifying images – signs of destruction. From that moment on, he is no longer an outsider.
On this journey, Volepain is not alone. He meets companions with different skills and ideals. Together, they explore the world through difficult choices, tense confrontations and decisions that affect the fate of an entire civilization.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Foretales offers a different experience compared to many traditional card games. Instead of just using cards to fight, players need to use each card as a storytelling tool. Each card has its own role and can be used to interact with the world in a variety of ways. As you go on your adventure, you will choose your character, build the right deck, and use each card at the right time to overcome the challenges ahead.
When encountering enemies, combat cards will be effective. Players can use Slash to attack directly or use Dodge to dodge attacks when the situation is not favorable. In addition, some cards are used to affect the surrounding environment. If you encounter a guard, you can use Bribe to negotiate, or use Pickpocket to silently get items.
During adventures, you can use Scout to scout or find a safer path. Discovery cards also help detect hidden treasures or traps.
